Join DCI Global for Our First Community Call

Dear all,

We’re pleased to invite you to our first DCI Global Community Call.

This session is designed to welcome the broader community, introduce DCI Global and its mission, share updates on current core projects, introduce the planning committee, and help you identify clear ways to get involved. Join us to learn how to become part of DCI Global, collaborate on research with others in the network, bring or expand cryptocurrency education offerings at your academic institution, and engage with a community dedicated to rigorous, neutral research on whether and how Bitcoin and digital currencies help people financially flourish.

You can expect:

• To hear from the MIT DCI Director on what led to the creation of DCI Global and the initial direction of the network

• To learn more about the core projects from planning committee members leading this work, and how you can contribute

• To gain a clear understanding of collaboration expectations, opportunities, next steps, and ways of working together

• To share your research, interests, what you can contribute to, and what you hope to gain from DCI Global

• To build community and collaboration through shared interests and connections

The call will be split into two parts. In the first, we will share an overview of DCI Global. In the second, you will have the opportunity to engage in an interactive discussion. The first portion of the call will be recorded so it can be shared publicly for others to learn about DCI Global and its progress to date. The second half will not be recorded, as we want to allow for open discussion and community input.
